EIS/EIR preparation

EGS has written or contributed technical background data for environmental documentation and permitting applications for projects throughout the western United States.  Our contributions include geologic hazard assessment, hydrogeology, and volcanic hazard assessments.

Regulatory compliance

EGS provides permitting and compliance support for geophysical survey programs, temperature gradient drilling, subcontractor and supplier oversight, landowner right-of-way permissions and finalizing field programs.

Expert testimony

EGS staff has provided expert witness testimony for geothermal reservoir reviews, contested property cases and third-party prospect evaluations public and provide sector clients ranging from individual landowners to the US Department of Justice.

Financing evaluation

EGS personnel have evaluated resource capabilities for multiple asset consolidations and generation facility refinancing in vapor dominated and liquid dominated geothermal reservoirs ranging from a few megawatts to complete field-wide assessments of developed reservoirs.
